[xubuntu] 20.04: CPU usage sometimes suddenly 100%, filling up kern.sys and syslog

Hello Ubuntu-Team,

I sometimes encounter suddenly a never ending 100% CPU load leading to filling up of all available space on my disk by blowing up kern.sys and syslog.

I uploaded two screenshots of their content.

I use a clean install of Xubuntu on my old Thinkpad X61s.

Any ideas what could be the reason? Shall I fill in an official bug report @lunchpad? I am not a Linux Export.
Do you need more informations? I can also provide a photo of my task manager showing three threads with 33% load each when the system sticks.

Best regards and thank you for your support here in the forum!

Markus
