Official DMCA Copyright Infringement Notification
Before sending a notice to Google to take down some content hosted by us, please write it directly to us and we will act upon it much faster than Google to remove it.
Our website cyanogenmods.org follows the safe harbor provisions of 17 U.S.C. §512, otherwise known as Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).
It is cyanogenmods.org’s policy to work with copyright owners to protect their intellectual property and ensure that any unauthorized or copyrighted content must not be distributed via our site cyanogenmods.org.

You acknowledge that if you fail to comply with all of the requirements of this section, your notice (DMCA notice) may not be valid.
If the copyright owner misrepresented its claim regarding the infringing material, the copyright holder then becomes liable for any damages that resulted from the improper removal of the material.
CyanogenMods.org will give notice to its publishers or users of its policies regarding copyright infringement and the consequences of repeated infringing activities.
In accordance with the applicable copyright law, cyanogenmods.org has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, publishers and users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. CyanogenMods.org may also at its sole discretion limit access to the service and/or terminate the accounts of any publishers or users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

After we receive a notice from an owner we usually respond in 24-48 hours and take the action of removing the content within a maximum of 7 business working days of time after proper analysis of the case.
